Last night at 23:43 GMT, the last batch of users was added to the private beta, bringing the total number of participants to 1,305. Of those, 358 (27.4%) have performed a sync in the last two weeks. We expect that number to increase as people return from the holiday.
With the generous help of our beta testers, we've identified and fixed dozens of bugs, ranging from the embarrassingly obvious to the maddeningly obscure. We're still working on a few, including issues with recurrence exceptions, syncing from multiple Macs, syncing from multiple user accounts on the same machine, and usability. (If you're part of the private beta and find a bug, please email a detailed description to firstname.lastname@example.org.)
Once we've addressed all of the issues identified during the private beta, we'll begin the public beta period. If all goes well, that should happen in January. We'll make the announcement here on the Spanning Sync Blog.
