Google Bug: Deleted Recurrences Not Syncing

As we near our v1.0 release, continue to find bugs in the Google Calendar API that affect our users. Specifically, it looks like the "delete bug" that Google fixed last week isn't quite fixed after all.

If you create a recurring event, delete one or more of its recurrences in Google Calendar, and sync, those recurrences won't be deleted in iCal. We've reported the problem to Google and are optimistic we'll see a quick fix, as we have in the past.

Update: This bug in Google Calendar has now been resolved, and deleted recurrences sync properly.
