Service Note
Yesterday afternoon (U.S. time) we discovered and fixed a server configuration error that was introduced during the v1.0 launch Tuesday morning that has likely been the cause of numerous mysterious errors (including events not syncing, duplicate events being created, and various error messages). Syncing should work properly now, but you may have to perform a client reset to return Spanning Sync to a consistent state. To do so:
- Open the Spanning Sync preference pane
- Click the "Reset…" button
- Check "Reset info on this computer"
- Click "OK"
- Sync
If after performing this procedure you encounter any problems, please let us know by emailing us at support@spanningsync.com. As you can imagine, we've had a huge surge in the number of users and are working hard to address all problem reports as quickly as possible.

Glad I didn't pay the $65...

STILL NOT WORKING... I HAVE TRIPLICATES OF MY EVENTS, EVEN AFTER DELETING ALL THE TRIPLICATES I HAD IN iCAL...

Richard,
If iCal has a copy of all of your events, please do this:
* Open the Spanning Sync preference pane
* Click the "Reset…" button
* Check "Replace information on Google Calendar"
* Click "OK"
* Sync
Note that this sync will take significantly longer than normal, since it's deleting all events in your Google Calendar and replacing them with their counterparts from iCal.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, please contact us directly at support@spanningsync.com and we'll get the problem fixed.
Thanks,
Charlie
