Spanning Sync v2.1.3 Now Available

This morning we released Spanning Sync v2.1.3, which fixes two small bugs.

What's New in v2.1.3:

• Fixed a rare crash
• Fixed a problem that could cause detached events to be deleted from iCal when there were duplicates on Google Calendar

All users are encouraged to download and install the update as soon as possible. Like all new Spanning Sync versions, this update is included in your Spanning Sync subscription.

Spanning Sync Turns Two!

Two years ago today we launched Spanning Sync v1.0. Can it really have been that long ago? Wow.

At 8:24am on March 13, 2007 Peter A. became our first paid subscriber. Three minutes later our subscriber base doubled. Since then it's doubled fourteen more times.

To our loyal customers, the helpful and friendly people at Google and Apple, and my awesome teammates Larry and Byron: Thank you! You rock!

But enough nostalgia. We're hard at work on the next major release of Spanning Sync, and on a couple of surprises. Stay tuned. The next two years promise to be even better than the last.

Spanning Sync v2.1.2 Now Available

We've discovered a bug in v2.1.1 that disabled "trickle" sync, which pushes changes from your Mac to Google as soon as they're made. The problem has been fixed in Spanning Sync v2.1.2, which is now available for download.

What's New in v2.1.2:

• Fixed a problem introduced in v2.1.1 that broke trickle syncing.

Spanning Sync v2.1.1 Now Available

Thanks to reports from several users we've been able to find and fix a bug which was causing continual syncs under some conditions. The problem has been fixed in Spanning Sync v2.1.1, which is now available for download.

• Fixed a problem that could cause the program to sync in a never-ending loop.
