Here are just a few of the things people are saying about Spanning Sync:
I've been using Spanning Sync for a couple of weeks now to sync iCal & Contacts with Google. It rocks. http://ow.ly/2mv5x
HOORAY!! I was finally able to sync my Android with iCal with Google Calendar using Spanning Sync software. http://spanningsync.com

Hi, my Spanning Sync automatically updated and now it tells me:
You cannot open Spanning Sync preferences because it doesn't work on an Intel-based Mac.
How do I roll back to the old version?
Thanks.

Spanning Sync definitely supports Intel Macs -- those are the only ones Apple makes!. But unfortunately this is the message that System Preferences displays when *anything* goes wrong while opening a pref pane. Please contact us at support@spanningsync.com so we can figure out what's really going on. Thanks.

Now that Leopard will sync calendar and contacts with Google is there any chance you are working on a sync for MS Outlook and Google Apps? Here's hoping someone is.

We've heard from lots of users that using Leopard's built-in CalDAV support to integrate with Google Apps isn't worth the frustration (see http://is.gd/hXkCQ, http://is.gd/hXkJw, and http://is.gd/hXkKy), and are happy to provide Spanning Sync as a solution that "just works".
That being said, Google has an Outlook sync tool (see http://is.gd/hXkhl). We don't use Outlook so we can't attest to how well it works, but if you try it we'd love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks,
Charlie

Thanks Charlie,
We've been using Spanning Sync for a while, and it works great.
I'm suggesting that perhaps you could win some more customers if you could sync Google Apps with Outlook for Mac. There are plenty of unanswered help threads over on Google asking for it.
The Google Outlook Sync Tool page sucks you in (as does their promise of support for your existing IT) before you find out that the one thing they forgot about was Mac users.

Ah, Outlook for Mac--I'm going to have to get used to that!
Interesting. We'll take a look.
Thanks,
